Had a great time. Feel sorry for the people that missed out. Big thanks for the steel target demo and the range facilities.

Thanks to Gumby for letting me try his .45, and the water.

Watching 451_Detonics ringing the steel at 100yds with a 4 inch .38 was great!

That was a long drive.....I actually had to pull over and take a nap!

Thanks for everyone that attended! :ingo:
It was a bit hot for my tastes, but a day shooting steel can't be beat:ar15: I couldn't take it anymore over on the 25 yrd....to freakin hot:n00b:

If anyone missed the chance to grab some targets, I will be at the 1500 next weekend, so look me up! Shipping is reasonable on these things, too, so feel free to contact me and we'll get you squared away!

My biggest thanks go out to the club that hosted the event. Great facility and a great bunch of guys!!! I hope you guys are able to make the additions to your facility that you have planned. It will make an already great facility even better!!

Was a great day shooting and I got to say Fireaxes was dinging the 100 yard plates with his revolver as well...even ran a impressive percentage at 100 yard with a 2 inch 442 (?)...those snubbies aren't just for arms length!

Was great to meet other INGO members, was a nice turnout. My club did but about 12 pieces of steel and other members bought some as well. We set up plates on the 25 and on the 100 yard ranges. The 25 was pistol and folks shot these a bunch, other than lead and copper smears they looks like new when finished. What was impressive was the 100 yard targets, despite being blasted all day with 223, 308, 7.62X39 and 7.62X54 these plates also looked brand new. We shot chain in have, snap links in half, even blasted a bolt but the plate took zero damage. These things are tough! ZbornacSVT had a plate that had been shot with 50BMG Ball ammo, it was slightly dented but still 100% usable. I know my club intends to buy more in the future.

    Now the obligatory pics....

Some closer shoots of the surface to show there is no damage to the steel. Not divots, but discoloration from heat, paint removal, and lead deposits:

Yes it was a 442, good eye for detail.

The targets are tough! I liked them so much I bought 4 of smaller ones. I can have a portable steel target setup now. A good deal for me and anybody else I'm shooting with.

That's what owning a gunshop for many years will do for ya...lol. There is the possibility of a repeat demo this fall I think. At least I hope so. This was a great day of shooting and was a lot of fun. I would like to add that good gun handling was observed through out the day and people were very polite about making sure everyone had plenty of time on the range.
