Well done Mr. A. Which firearms did you start them off with?

    .

    .22 revolver, single action.
Then on to a .38 special.
Then a .357, but he didn't like it.
    Back to the .38.

    Then to the semi side.
.22 mosquito, which he didn't like.
    Then .22 S&W M&P.
    Then a 9mm or two.

Trying to educate on revolver vs. auto.
And then a couple different sizes.
Will probably shoot once more, in a week or two.
So he can let the knowledge sink in.
He's thinking of buying. The political situation has him worried.

Cue a scientist and Fullbright scholar named Paolo Tagaloguin, who posted a now-deleted tweet telling us we were wrong and the apocalypse is nigh. He tweeted:

“Following the Julian Calendar, we are technically in 2012…The number of days lost in a year due to the shift into Gregorian Calendar is 11 days… For 268 years using the Gregorian Calendar (1752-2020) times 11 days = 2,948 days. 2,948 days / 365 days (per year) = 8 years.”

So based on that math, we’re looking at June 21, 2020 as the date the Mayan calendar is set to end.

Are you going to have a fish boil for NWI INGO when when you get back home?
Nope. All 5 guys on the inlaw side are going to either be catching walleye for lunch and/or stocking up for a later date's meals. One BIL already went last weekend to scout a couple lakes.

I finally have proof that men are not the worst procrastinators. actaeon277 post about the new shooter got me thinking about some math. The first time my wife fired a gun was when we were dating 18+ years ago. Her my mother, my brother and I went to the range for the day and she had a good time. Since then she hasn't been much but had always talked about getting her own gun, taking a class and getting her LTCH. Well today she finally walked in to the sheriff's office to turn in her paperwork and handed over the cash. Her and a friend a signed up for an all women's class in August. Only a mere 18 years later, so yeah yeah I'll get that stuff out of the basement tomorrow

Because in older people, the muscles become weak and do not push the food/water to the esophagus like they should, and little bits end up in the trachea.
