So who here is a fan?
On the sporty side I'm liking the Flak Jacket.

What do you guys like? Bonus points if you include a picture of yourself wearing them.

Love the Flak Jacket's, I currently have 2, and had another pair but someone decided they needed them more than me. My $0.02, if you're going to get them spend the extra money and get polarized. They are worth it.
So now on to the bonus points...

I agree. My last pair (Half Jackets) were polarized and I liked that about them.

I like the style of the Flak Jackets. They are "sporty" enough without being gaudy and attention-catching like some of the newer models are.

I had lasik eye surgery nearly 10 years ago. It was the best $$$ I ever spent.

Of course... now I wear cheap sunglasses (Berkley fishing sunglasses) that I bought for about $10 at WallyMart.

I wear a lot of hats, and have always had a hard time finding a pair that would fit under the bill. I finally decided on the standard GasCans and really like them.

The only pictures I have of me wearing them are from when I was headed out to go camping.

Black, Polarized GasCans. I typically wear these most of the time.

That is one good looking dog.

As far as Oakleys, I've tried had to like them (borrowed a friend's extra pair at the lake when I drunkenly broke my gas station aviators) and tried quite a few on. The ones I've tried don't seem to fit my giant head all that well but I've not seen any of the different fits when I've looked at them. As far as styling goes, the Plaintiffs look the best to me. Those are about the only ones I've seen out of their line that I'd actually wear.

You can get about 20 pair of these for the price you will spend on oakleys!

    LOL

I've tried the cheap replaceable sunglasses route. I once bought a lot of 36 pairs in various lens/frame combinations. There is no comparison in terms of frame construction and lens quality with Oakleys.

Do Oakleys command a somewhat higher price due to status and marketing? Sure. But I liked my old pairs so much I want them again.

I'd love to get a pair of oakleys. But everytime I look at them at Dicks, my wife gives me "The Look".

I should really get my eyes checked out first. I havent had them checked out in 10 years. And I stopped wearing my glasses.

I have a pair of E Wires that I bought when I came home on leave in 1996. They went through two deployments with me and still do not have a scratch on them.

I have the Splinter, love them. They're my second Pair of Oakley's in 15 years. Can't remember the name of the first pair but i wore them for 12 years. Lost one of the lenses in the woods. It was fall, and the lenses were orange so there was no finding it. They are so old that replacement lenses are no longer available. If you have a flexible spending/health savings account you can buy them from your eye doc with that money. We ended up buying some for the wife and both kids at the end of last year because we had a couple hundred bucks left in the flex spend account and if you don't use it you lose it.

my nephew who is military was given a few pairs of these and he loves them. I guess this is what the military is using now so I guess they are pretty darn good i bit pricy but i find you get what you pay for. I have a terrible problem putting them down and forgetting them so for me probably not a good idea but for someone who is much better at not leaving them behind a great thing

I've owned a pair of half jackets for going on 10 years. Ok, so I'm on my 2nd pair after my first pair came into inadvertent contact with a 2yr old's foot. Anyway, I am a HUGE Oak fan. I like the Splinter and Tightrope styles as well.

I like the half-x, but $350 is a bit strong for 1 pair of shades.

I love my Oakleys! Gascans are the only pair I have right now but I wear them all the time. Mine have the Polarized lens and they are definitely worth the extra $$.

    Heres the ones I have:

Thanks. You would be hard pressed to find a non-formally trained dog who is as well mannered and tempered as she is. My GF's sister raves about how great of a job I did with training her, and always hates it when I say that's just how she is. (A Pit Bull that's not a killer? OMGNOWAI!)

And now back to the OP. Evan, here is a picture with the GasCans, a hat, and my lovely face.
