I have never spent more than 30 dollars on a pair of sunglasses in my life. I need a new pair before I go on vacation. I love the look of Ray Ban Wayfarers. When I see the price I start shaking though.

I've said that same thing about knives, guns, sunglasses, etc.

I found that I took better care of them, and knew where they were at all times, when I paid that much for them.

I recently was gifted a pair of Oakley Flakjacket 2.0 XL's with polarized lenses. They were for the purpose of cycling but have also been great for walking the dog and keeping the sun out of my eyes while driving. These things are very light weight and the polarized lens is very important in blocking the sun while riding my bike or driving the car.

I used to be an Oakley guy, but then I was given a pair of Smith Optics glasses by my employer. I now own a few pairs. Great glasses at half the price.

Not a big fan of Oakleys-- too much $$ for too little value imho.

I like the Tifosi Optics I got last year. Way cheaper than Oakley, couldn't tell a quality difference.

I agree....I have a pair of Oakleys.......I fail to see the quality in these spectacles.
