    How is terrorism defined by politics?

    Simple...

    Terrorism = Use of terror
    Terrorist = Someone inflicting terror

    These terms existed before 9/11.......

    @on topic... Should I be surprised that no one here doesn't want to see the War on Terror stopped now? Seems the consensus is that we should continue to meddle in foreign affairs with the goal of preventing terrorist attacks in the US?

    Not sure I agree that makes sense....

    Not sure I care what you think. You've made fairly clear whose side you're on.

    War on terror? Hardly! From the beginning it's been a war on FREEDOM! The terrorists remain undeterred and the freedoms of Americans are in the trash can daily.

    QFT!

    The War on Terrorism is no more winnable than the "War on drugs". Both are used to take our Liberties.

    I agree with everything Stickfight says, his word is bond.

    And yes, we've agreed that 'strawman' in the context of logical fallacies, means "Great point Stickfight, you are right and I concede. Also I'm a terrorist."

    Hah! You're welcome to your own definition of "strawman." And I'll bet you can't produce the other guy who supposedly agrees with you, even if I cared.

    Sure you care... or you wouldn't be in this thread quoting him and asking him to produce the other guy

    :dunno:

    The zero tolerance policy did. Good thing I didn't also have a drawing of a gun or I'd have to find new friends to play with. Stickfight' has to be put away.
