His French is quite good from what I heard, even though it's a bit rusty.
Also French the fourth most-spoken language in the US.

Most politicians in many parts of the world have to be fluent in 2 or 3 languages.

Actually if you mean your personal home, yes, that's true.

Now is the time to be completely IN Good Debt (and yes there is such a thing) AND completely OUT OF Bad Debt - and there is such a thing... If you are able...

Good Debt = Debt which purchased inflation proof assets that with bring back monthly cashflow.

Bad Debt = Debt that bought you something that was consumed or pays you no inflation following return.

The problem with our government is the voter. The american voter doesen't want compromise. We vote out republican senators because they are too moderate (lugar). The political parties cast off members that remain moderate (Bayh).

Everyone listens to the news they want to hear. Who benefits the most? The media. They can charge a premium for advertising because their audience is so specific.
The system isn't broken. We are.

Our elected officials have done nothing about it? Why? Because the left side wants to really put it to the rich guy. The right side wants to keep everything status quo. Nothing gets accomplished. It is a boxing fight where the two boxers dont want to throw a punch in fear that they will look bad. If they do throw a punch and miss they are scorned for failure. Washington is the place where inaction keeps you safe and action is a liability.

I think the crash happened on 9-11, literally, and economically. Terrorism on that scale, hitting our world financial center not only undermined consumer confidence, it cost untold billions, and trillions more on wars that cannot be won, and security that cannot be had. Our country has become divided, timid, and weak, just as they had hoped, and we're just flailing about now, gasping for air.

Obviously invading Iraq was a tactical error, but electing Obama was more than the terrorists could have hoped for. A repudiation of practically every American value such as freedom of speech, capitalism, strong military/foreign influence, Christianity, and so on. Yes, this is why he got the Nobel Peace Prize, it was his mandate to make America impotent so that other countries could flourish. Obama never believed America was great and allowed the world to flourish. So as we decompose into bankruptcy over the next four years under socialist policies like Obamacare, I expect to see the rest of the world begin to rot too.

The terrorists didn't want to destroy America, they wanted to destroy civilization. So they went to the root of it, American money, and security.
