Yup. I shot it the day I got it. I checked the barrel and put a shell in it and fired it.

Many .22's, especially older ones like this, did NOT have serial numbers.
They weren't required until sometime in the 1930's I think.

I have one or two older .22's without serial numbers.

The 1968 GCA is when S/N's became mandatory. Although most big companies already put them on.
