I was a Palin fan for awhile. Even when she quit the governors office, I could rationalize it as ID1776 did above. But now, after watching her try to stay relevant as her star fades, I'm becoming more and more convinced she's in it to cash in and has been for awhile now. She's just sad now. Still pretty hot for us old guys but sad.

To me being "presidential" means carrying one's self with confidence, dignity, maturity, eloquence, honor. Obama is not that. I have never seen Obama as that. Sarah Palin is certainly not that. Neither is Trump. Neither is Hillary. Probably Bernie is kinda that, but then he's also a ****ing socialist. People can say what they want about Reagan, but he was one of the last great "presidential" presidents. I look at "presidential" as just another attribute in a long list of attributes a president should have. It's not the top one. Certainly if that's the only attribute a candidate is missing, other more important attributes would outweigh that one.

As for Sarah Palin, I just don't take her seriously. It's not that I think she's stupid. I think of her much like Trump, that she understands the culture of the base enough to know exactly what to say to make them support her. I think she is a scammer, just like I think Trump is a scammer. I don't trust her. I don't trust Trump. I'm only voting for Trump because I DO trust Hillary, that she will do exactly what she has promised. If Trump picked Palin as a running mate, well, there is a limit to my pragmatism. At that point all hope of a sane America is lost and I'd just write in a candidate.

I think you're spot on with your assessment. I like Sarah and as an old guy I think she's attractive but as a Pres. Or V.ap I'm not seeing it. I think she's a little too folksy which I like and relate to but it's not what I look for in a President or V.P. I want somebody who has honor,integrity,and the ability to to differ and be firm and resolute with the highest amount of respect and dignity befitting the office. Quite frankly, she is kryptonite after the lame stream media had their way with her. I think that the days of decorum have passed us by and we are stuck with celebrities as our choice for leadership or the same old guard bunch that are thrown at us. I guess chivalry is dead.

I think the skank is only 2 for 2. She's still got a lot of breeding year ahead of her, so I'll place the over/under at 6 kids/4 dad's.

Politically we are thinking alike here, but I am inclined to believe that Gov. Martinez from NM would be a better pick if they can come to an agreement.

I don't think Palin would do a good job at all. I don't think she has the chops for the job.... she didn't have the fortitude to stick it out in Alaska, a state that has a population smaller than Indy metro. Why would one be inclined to allow her more people to represent with her fake folksy gibberish? And it's gibberish. That woman tries way to hard to speak a dialect she obviously isn't native to.... and before anyone points it out, yes, Hillary did the same thing.
