I think we're dealing with the same attitude we find in basement dwellers who criticize small unit tactics based on what they see in "Call of Duty". No real-word experience, but plenty of screen time.

I always find it amusing when "family values" types demonstrate their fascination with other people's sex lives. Very telling.
If I was a family values chest-thumper, I sure wouldn't be spending much time viewing a Palin booty thread. But that's just me.
