So you are suggesting to sue a private business for not doing business with you, and it is not because of being a member of some protected class that the private business is blatantly discriminating against? Uhm, ok. Or are you suggesting suing South Bend?

Evidently you don't understand, said private business is denying sale because of a no longer valid city law, because it is no longer a valid law, anyone who lives in SB is being illegally discriminated against.
If you're going to deny because of a local law, you must also allow the sale when said law is overturned. After all, their saying that they ARE following law, which they are not.

OP had a legit point, and kudos for trying to make PSA seeing reason. You can lead a horse to water, etc.

So buy your magazines elsewhere. And since this silly rule of theirs energized you, drum up a deal with your friends, INGO members in the SouthBend area, your parents, and anyone else that wants 30 round mags, then order a large quantity shipment of 30 round mags from CDNN or whoever gives you the best deal. Make sure they are delivered to South Bend. Then send a copy of the paid bill to the president of PSA. ;)

They are being discriminated against....but not illegally.

    What law has been violated?

Um. No. It's a good policy...but not the law. They can be wrong and there is no law that forces them to make sails where they do not want to based upon a mistake of law.

The restocking fee may be improper and a recovery could probably be had for that, but that's it.

Get everyone you know in SB to order a 30-round magazine or two from them on a monthly basis. Recruit people to start doing it.

Every time those orders get cancelled, PSA customer service could be reminded that the local prohibition was repealed many years ago so restocking fees don't apply.

Make it a hobby. Have fun with it.

    Exactly...

Apparently I have to spread some rep around: "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to HoughMade again."

As far as my not understanding as remarked by Indy Beerman: think about locally where we have FFLs who won't accept a state ID, but will accept a driver's license, etc. Going to try and sue them too? Going to sue a business that won't allow you to carry on their premises too? Private business owners have rights as well, unless of course they are discriminating against a protected class.

I'm always amazed how folks are all about protecting rights, until it is someone else's rights (whether we agree with the other party or not).

That said, want to take your business elsewhere and let them know why? That's a great way to make your voice heard, but even then, there are businesses where these things don't bubble up because the employees or others don't care, but that's their right as well.

Or you could just buy your mags elsewhere? Oh wait, I forgot we live in the times of outrage culture.
