Nothing against Cabot, not my style, but how about a 1911 GSP WOULD approve of without debate....
Pre War National Match forged and hand built in the U.S., recrafted by a Master American Smith for an American Warrior.

    Heirloom Precision for LAV.

The American Joe 1911 is forged out of the same principles. This gun is a symbol of “American exceptionalism” at it’s finest. The tire tread “USA” represents the speed of the bullet leaving barrel as well as the Detroit Automotive innovative spirit which is at the heart of America. The wings embody a burst of Freedom as the tire peels out shifting into a Web pattern that is traditionally Tattoo on the elbow and is fitting as the pattern on the slide. (the elbow of the gun) A spiders web in nature is one of the most complex patterns and is broken-down everyday but built back up every night. In America we continue to build just as our forefathers did for generations. The American Flag hand grip represent the strength of this country as the hand wraps around the magazine with fortitude and resilience. This gun is built purely in America and shaped out of the finest block of steel. The American Joe is a true Red, White and Blue representation of the Glory, Romance and Legend of the 1911.

yeah, a Brazilian and Italian made guns does not ring patriotic to me, but if you think so.

By the same standard foreign-born US citizens cannot be patriotic?:dunno:
America is a melting pot of different cutures and origins.
Patriotic is different than "made in the USA".
An Italian gun, a Brazilian gun, and a US flag symbolizing the right to own and carry them both ... that's 'Merica right there. :patriot:

    :+1: To the OP.

Well if non U.S. made guns placed on an improper display of the American flag seems like 'merica to you, then I don't know what else to say my friend:dunno:.

As my earlier post indicated, 1911 and 92? I knew what the OP was getting at with the service pistol angle, and I had no problem with that. What I had a bit of a problem with was using the American flag as a tablecloth. His right? Certainly. My right to point out a better way of accomplishing the same thing, as Hickok did. I'm sure he meant no offense, but without correction, we never learn.

Well you guys are right about the use of the flag.
In my post I just wanted to say "Let's all be nice with the new guy".Nothing more. :)

Also using the American flag whoever you want is covered by the First Amendment, even if it's not displayed according to the Flag Code.
So you could say it's still about 'Merica and freedom.
But yeah a US flag shouldn't be used as a tablecloth, however he has the right to do so.

I really do think that a lot of people here put the Flag Code above the Bill of Rights.

I have no doubt there are people here that have little reverence for the Constitution of the United States.

After all, Tobi Keith aint nevar sang about no first amendment so git git git, yee haww... snort.
