    Congratulations on getting a Ruger 1911. That was the model I was looking for but could not find one around. I understand they are "on allocation."
    Give us a range report.


    It shoots great and is pretty simple to strip and clean. More than welcome to shoot it if you are close to the east side:D I have a membership to what used to be pops guns.

    The world is not so un-perfect as you might think. Start out with a Kimber and save yourself a lot of trouble. From there you will want a Wilson or Les Bear but it will still save you a few steps...

    Wilson, les Baer, or nighthawk....Elmore's had all three IIRC, however, they won't let you dry fire those pistols as you could with other 1911's.
