I guess I'm still on the transplant list, even though I've gotten better enough that they keep me at the bottom on observation. I keep trying to get them to cut me off a piece of my liver, but they insist it all needs to go to the lab, like one part has something different wrong with it than another. How often do you get to eat a piece of yourself?

    too far from nature
I’ve always been puzzled by this practice. It has always seemed canabalistic to me. Even though it is shed naturally, it is still a part of the body. That, or we have to acknowledge that it is a byproduct/waste product being expelled from the body. So, it’s either eating human body parts or human waste. If it is human waste, then that opens up a couple more edibles for those who are ok with eating human waste. :n00b::puke::puke:

    Right here.
The first thing I thought of when I looked into the eyes of 'mom' in that photo was exactly what GFGT posted above. Then the slogan of Dow corp..."Better Living Through Chemicals".

This thread cracks me up. Both of my daughters were born at home, so I'm no stranger to a placenta. I'm not really sure what people seem to be so wigged out about. My wife thought about doing the encapsulation thing, but ultimately ended up deciding to bury it and plant a tree over it.

I didn't really care either way. I don't see it as cannibalism.
