Cops eat at Dunkin Donuts, and only Dunkin Donuts..... They dont have "lunch"... They have a continuous meal that lasts their entire shift. A sitdown meal would get in the way of violating the rights of citizens.

Ok, sorry for postwhoring.. I couldn't resist.

    What's with the purple? :):

I'm a cop. I love donuts. I ain't ashamed of it. You all do too. If you say you don't you've either never had Long's or you're lying.

    Mmmmmmm  I...love...Long's

    LONG'S is where it's at..

That's funny, the same thing happened to me in a restroom last week.

    Doubt it.

I guess that just goes to show you how little I eat sweets. They are my favorite and I can't even spell it.

BTW, reread your post and laugh with me for a sec.

Oh my god! I love my home but as soon as a house hits the market within 100 yards of longs bakery I am so moving. To the op, I occasionally take riders. It's a good time, east district middle shift. We stay pretty busy year round.

Dude... Don't knock it till you try it. It's life changing.

Says the guy with a badge.:):

Seriously though, I've never even heard of Long's.

Are they a chain or is it just a shop in Indy? Despite not being a fan of donuts, I may have to take your word for it and give them a try next time I'm up there.

Get there early. Everything's gone by mid-afternoon.

Don't try on Friday morning. The line will be out the door and around the corner at the 16th St store. Southport? You won't even get in the parking lot!

There are a couple of bakeries like that in Hamtramck (suburb of Detroit). It's even worse on Fat Thursday (and/or Fat Tuesday). You'll wait in line up to 12 hours for paczki.

I have a good friend that is a police officer and i tease him about doughnuts all the time.
Truth is he is way more physically fit than most men and doesn't eat them. But i always say when i go along on a ride i will bring the doughnuts.
