Poll for next long gun purchase

Voted for M1A, but I really would prefer an M1 Carbine. The platform works fine and is durable. It is very accurate to 200 yards based on personal experience. Powerful enough that if you hit someone with it he will have a bad day. Light and short enough to carry all day in bush or urban environments. Perhaps the M1A Scout is in order.

Ruger Gun Site Scout then another M1A. This goes with your theory 2 is company and what the heck, something totally accurate, takes the same ammo, and yes totally reliable.
