Both of my bolt rifles are factory rem 700's. Neither has ever seen a factory round. To my knowledge, no one produces match grade 7mm-08 or 243 and if they did it would be impossible to justify the expense of buying enough ammo to re-zero for this match. Jon, I understand they are not your rules , But please pass this on to the MD. Thanks, Jim

I see you have created categories but no classes. I take it that new shooters compete equally with experienced shooters? I am used to seeing struggling new shooters get extra help during a match, rules against coaching be damned....:) (Cuz it doesn't matter in the end...)

Is there a reason why you don't just use the NRA Highpower Rulebook?

I understand it is a private match on a private range and you can make whatever rules you want, I am curious why you disregard rules that have been used for decades and thousands of competitors.

I'd like to go and I don't really care what class of rifle you'd put me in, but I'm curious how you'd define mine.

110FP in 30-06 bolt action using handloaded ammo. Would I be unlimited?

    northern shelby co.
for the open class, are bench rests like the benchrest shooters use ok. and is there a time limit for the 5 shots. i understand reasonable, but 60 seconds with a single shot is a little tough. i'm leaning on coming to this shoot, but need to build some more ammo, so deciding which rifle to bring.
