    We just did 20 jars of green beans yesterday. Payless on cross & 109 in Anderson has green beans for $.29 a lb.

    My Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents used to collect all the veggies left in the garden at the end of the season...and they'd pickle everything. Pickled peppers, pickled okra, pickled green tomatoes, pickled green beans...and pickled chicken (which is to die for by the way).

    Nothing got wasted.

    We had some Israeli friends who lived in Winchester years ago. Vlad would pickle ANYTHING. LOL. that guy was always pickling something new. Roma tomatoes didn't sound good to me, but they turned out great!
