Putting a shotgun in the trunk?

Doing my best to learn laws, since finding INGO, I have learned quite a bit.

Honest question, I am new to the ways of arms, but I was curious, are there any laws in IN against me mounting a shotgun in the trunk of my car?

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID.... But seriously.... no law against it as long as you legally allowed to own it. loaded, unloaded no diff. Why keep it in the trunk? Shotguns make good lapdogs.

No law I know of, other than the usual location restrictions (schools, fed property, etc...). Watch where you park, I guess!

lol, i think the reason the guy asked "why have it in the trunk" was not to say its pointless to take it with you but rather...

why not keep it IN the car?

just so long as you follow the rules of not going into communist countries like illinois, dont get out of your car in a k-12 school parking lot, and what not.
