Ok. I have been on here a month or so as a member. I have read a lot of messages about carrying a firearm; many messages about how carrying anything less than a .380 is better than a flyswatter but maybe not all that much, and when someone mentions a small gun, I see a slew of messages about carrying big guns in the heat of summer with no real discomfort all while wearing shorts and a t-shirt....so......

Lets see some shots of 9mm and above, in a full frame preferrably but others if you choose, of YOU carrying comfortably in shorts and a T-shirt. I would really like to see where you carry and what holster/setup you carry in that makes it that comfortable.

Those are of course jeans, but it would be no different with shorts. Unless we are talking 1970's running shorts.

I'll try to remember to take pics in the morning, when I've got shorts on.

I suppose my sub-compact XD isn't really "full size", but it is no pocket pistol either. I have a Crossbreed Supertuck for CC days, and a Fobus Paddle for OC days. Both are comfy enough for me. Wearing the Fobus with jeans right now.

    comfortable?

It's supposed to be comforting, not comfortable. I've been strictly an OWB kinda guy til this week. Been carrying my Sig p228 in my new galco IWB and I'm kinda diggin it. Lots easier to get under a t-shirt.

Don't have photos on the internet at the moment, but Glock 27 in a DeSantis Companion at 3:30, DeSantis Intruder at 4:00 lets me tuck for polo and shorts, or if I'm in a longer T-shirt then I'll OWB a Blackhawk CQC Sepra lvl II in "sloppy concealed carry" where if I reach up or bend over I know it'll be OC, so it's reserved for places/days I'm equally as comfortable straight up OCing, but cover up for courtesy of the sheep.

It's supposed to be comforting, not comfortable.

I hate this statement. It got used on me so frequently when I first started carrying that I almost stopped altogether, believing that guns were not only supposed to gouge into your side, but were expected to. I asked for help and this was all I got. It's false. It's a nice soundbite, but it does more harm than good. It's perfectly possible for a carry gun to be comfortable. If it's uncomfortable, you're not going to carry it, unless you're the sort of person who likes causing yourself physical pain.

The bottom line is that just about ANY gun can be carried comfortably (AND be comforting) if you understand what the problem is and are willing to address it. For me, it was about realizing that I simply needed to buy bigger pants to make enough room for my pistol.

I'm too lazy to post pics, but I use some pretty common holsters so I'll just tell you: I carry a glock 22 in a smartcarry holster and a glock 27 in a Remora holster just above it and a little to the right at 1 o clock...never leave the house without them. Conceals very easily on a 6'1" 155lb frame

Serpa OC setup, with the sloppy tuck for short term. But it hides well in the winter.

The companion does have an OWB option but I need a thicker belt before I make that change.

I'm starting to look into more subtle clips so I need not be black pants and belt for all tucked situations, and I probably need a better belt. Those are shorts I just can't back far enough from the mirror to fit them and not be all bathroom counter. I still feel like I'm perpetually printing, but these photos actually eased my mind a little bit, that is until I was reminded how much weight I need to lose!

Normal EDC is a G19 in a Galco King Tuk holster, but I don't have any pics of them up.

Here's a G19 in a Fobus IWB holster, also shorts and T-shirt. I used the holster for only a couple days, I prefer the King Tuk:

Kahr CM9 in the pocket for me. I don't feel comfortable carrying the bigger stuff IWB or etc. Until recently it was an LCP in the pocket. I still find the small single stacks easier to carry, and I tend to tuck my shirts in, so the Hawaiian style IWB carry isn't as easy for me.

Hey Michael what holster is that on the ... left. Your right. The one with the adjustable sighted Glock with the clip?
