I run the 147gr Xtreme's for my 10yr old to shoot out of his G19. 3.6gr of 231 is a nice light smooth load that is dead on accurate for him.I'm actually in the process of switching over to 147gr berrys. Still sitting on a bunch of 231 so it will be 231 for some time.
I use a Lee factory crimp die just enough to eliminate any flare.

I load on a Dillon 650. 231 meters extremely well and consistent. Also a great powder for 380, and 45acp.Planning to p/u some 231 this week. It seems to be a good all-around powder for 9mm from what I read. How does it do in metering through a Hornady powder throw?
