personally i use cci sr primers but thats because i bought a bunch in bulk. if federals had been on sale i would have used federals.

if your wanting a little better accuracy debur the flashhole, uniform primer pocket, clean inside of the case will help

For blasting ammo I just pick a load in the middle of the scale for the powder/bullet combo I'm using. If I'm going for accuracy, I start at the bottom of the scale and load 5 in 1 grain increments, find the best one, then start playing with it in .1 grain increments up and down. If the bullet has a connuller I seat to the middle of it. If not I play with the seating depth until I find what works( just keep it so it fits in the mag).
