Always fun to take a member's gun to the range, especially if it is a CZ. :ingo:
Zackcz let me take his 75 SP-01 Shadow that he put on orange grips. :rockwoot:
Some good groups with both guns!
If Zack's were my gun, I'd have to drift POA over the the left a hair more.

    Used Reloads, 105 grain on 5.75" circles at m 15' & 21' & 30' & 45'.

    1.75" circles at 15', 21' & 30'.
I'm impressed, a 9mm handgun has to be shooting well for me to get out my 1.75" circles used for .22LR.

In hog heaven today shooting my two CZs I've had since 2018 & 2020:
    - Shadow 2
    - Rami
    &
another two CZs I picked up just for fun shooting in Oct & Nov this year from Zackcz:
    - CZ 75 B SAO with two 16 rd mags, a rare breed with its SAO from the factory
    - CZ P-09 with two 19 rd mags, 3 backstraps, 4.54" barrel, DA/SA

I don't intend to keep the two new additions since the Shadow 2 is the ultimate shooter & "keeper" for me.
Having been upgraded to suit me, my only "personalized" gun I've indulged in so extensively.

The Rami is special CZ being a fully Cajunized subcompact with optional 14 rd magazine, discontinued in 2020.
Keeping it is really more nostalgic than anything, since I don't need it for a range toy & I don't CC it anymore.
Someday, for the right money, I'll part with it.

But, I love the 19 round capacity of the P-09
    and,
the SAO of the 75 B makes it a great shooter in stock condition.

9mm day at the range with 4 CZs from last Friday:
    - Rami
    - 75 B SAO
    - P-09
    - Shadow 2
    Also included for function check:
    - Smith & Wesson SD9VE
Having hard time deciding which to sell, but I need to thin the herd of some 9mm. :crying:
Maybe it'll take a few more "last range days."
I can't sell any 22LR at this point since they are my range toys. :lmfao:

To compare guns, my hobby approach, I added up how many rds each put in the inner light gray circle. :ar15:
I realize if I did this again tomorrow, scores would change somewhat, my being the X factor. :dunno:

Since I couldn't see the 2.75" gray circle.
I put a 3/4" red dot in the middle, but it shot off 2 of the targets.
No reloads, as is my custom lately, but used Blazer 115 grain, FMJ.
The CZ Shadow 2 grouped splendidly, as usual. My favorite gun ever!
Shooting it twice today, CZ P-09 improved from 40% to 80%.
The stock 75 B SAO is a shooter (100%), edging out the upgraded Rami (90%) today.
    10 rds each circle.

Are these shot from a rest?
    Rest.
I don't want to depress myself by shooting freehand, ha ha!
    If it's a carry gun,
    Then I'll shoot freehand occasionally.

I would've enjoyed shooting another target freehand with all of these,
but because the price of 9 mm is precious in my eyes,
I don't indulge shooting larger calibers much anymore.

    Sold SW 64 DAO.
    Bought a Taurus 66, .357 magnum, 7 rd, 4", SS from a member here that I previously have bought/sold 22LR rifles with.

I like having a revolver in the house.
    Smooth DA trigger.
Shot reloads only today, which might explain some fliers, or at least gives me excuse.
    85 rds today.

    Shot only 38 sp.
Did some some rear sight adjustments since POI was left & low for my eyes.
    3.75" circles at 15, 21 & 30' free hand & rest using both SA & DA.
1st row was only free hand.

Three CZ pistols with a Glock 34 today.
Not shooting well today; it shows I'm not spending much time with my 9mms.
Used 147 grain reloads, copper nose.

    Row 1 & 2:
    - Glock 34. I was all over the place with this.
    Row 3:
    - CZ P-09
    - CZ Rami
    - CZ Shadow 2
    21' at 3.75" circles
My worst showing, couldn't keep all rounds inside circle.

I have a Glock 34 Gen 5 MOS , never shot it with the open sights , has a Vortex Venom 6MOA on it. May switch out to a smaller dot later. Have an aftermarket trigger in it , is lighter but about as crisp as a cooked pasta. I wish factory Glock was equipped with a trigger on par with my Shield plus. But at least Glock can milled the optics cut properly , the Smith Shield Plus won't even zero without an angled shim.

Do you only shoot at around 7 yards. I noticed you had 21' wrote on paper? Also, is there some kind of advantage using 147gr over 115gr. My walther pps m2's work good with 115gr at around 10yrds but the px4 storm isn't liking the 115gr so much. No issues with 124gr. Could just be the Perfecta 115gr 9mm ammo.

    I mostly shoot non-optic guns at 21', whether .22LR, 9mm or .38 sp.
If a gun is particularly accurate, then out to 30', if I can keep rounds inside my 1.75", haha!
Can't really see well at 30' w/o an optic and must have my binos handy, haha!

    Optics begin at 30'.
If accurate enough, I extend out to 45', but rarely 75'.
If I have a particularly non accurate gun, I might even shoot at 15', haha!
Usually, I end up selling such after novelty wears off.

Don't really know much about 9mm grains, I quit shooting 9mm for the most part after prices went nuts.
I just happen to have some 147 gr. reloads available.
I'm now to the point where I'm more interested in putting most of my money getting some of the more expensive .22LR that are on my bucket list.
I have learned that some 9mm are set up for a certain grain enabling their POI to match POA.

Ok, was curious if this was what most shot distance was. None of my handgun have optics. All seem to be sighted from factory to about 10 to 15 yards at most which would be sr1911 45acp, walther pps m2, px4 storm, charter arms 38spc revolver and couple others.

Did function checks on 6 guns today, 5 being 9mm.

Used 125 grain spire point reloads.
21' mostly, but 30' on torso.
    Red circles are 1.75".

    Red circles are 1.75".
These reloads started locking up the slide & it wouldn't pull back w/o alot of effort??
I don't need this gun anymore, never have carried it but always tell myself it is an option and keep it. :dunno:
Shoots like a range gun, but I don't do anything but function checks with my 9mm anymore.
I'm afraid if I sell it though, I'd regret it.
    Range 03.20.2024 at 21 ft & 30 st on Silhouette.jpg

This was all 21' b/c I forgot to go out to 30' for the torso. :ugh:
The "badge" on the left was with a different kind of reloads, but they were terrible,
so I switched to Norma FMJ 124 grain for the rest of the targets today.
This is my house gun (x19 rds).

21' mostly, but 30' on torso.

Always loved this Shield Plus P. C. (used as a CC).
