    I started out with lee

I started out with a lee press, and it is still running after 25 years. I bought a early turret press before they were offered with indexing, if that tells you how old it is. Still tight and works as good as it did new.

If I was starting out now, I do think I would buy the turret press. Like it was said earlier remove the index rod until you are familiar with every step of the process.
Buy a new turret for every set of dies you buy, that way you will never have to adjust it much at all.
I bought it because of the cost compared to what was available then.
