Early on back when I lived in or around Houston Al Green was there and had his say and you heard what he had to say. And a lot of what he had to say was spot on. Since then the political landscape changed. Being a survivor he changed with it.

Actually that's me reminiscing, but none of my kids were conceived there.

Wow ! I remember my Dad telling me that this place is where my folks would go for a burger and a shake.

We moved to Indy in 1965...dad runnoft shortly thereafter leaving mom with a couple of wild boys to raise...on payday, once in awhile, she'd load us up and we'd go to Al Greens for burgers shakes and to see the old movies playing.
