I doubt he had a single regret. That's what I loved about him even though I didn't like his music. Whether it was music, acting, or art he did his own thing not giving a damn what anybody else thought. That's a life well spent.I was just listening to something the other day and it announced his birthday and age. I hope he enjoyed his life and had few regrets.
I put Bowie right up there with Cash and Dylan. Two years ago I was driving almost daily from Bloomfield to Princeton and I got into the habit of playing "under pressure" on repeat at top volume while singing along and beating the **** out of the steering wheel to keep time.
The man was quite the artist and himself art. He was a beautiful dude.
