...frenulum piercing... why, why did i look that up, why couldn't i been content with thinking that sounded familiar but not remembering what it was :(

I am glad I read the rest of the posts before asking mr google what ever a frenulum piercing is. I guess I will have to live the rest of my life without knowing, but it sounds like that might be a good thing.

Now, to be a smart arse, Fletch, what do you think of the Hi Power? :D
I don't see the point. And this isn't just me trying to rain on parades or anything... I just don't get it. I could make a list of things I don't get:

    1. Frenulum piercings
    2. Toy breed dogs
    3. Sports cars
    4. Professional sports
    5. Foot fetishes
    6. "Survivor"
    7. Full sized 9mm pistols

It's not that I think these things or the people who like them are evil or bad or objectionable in some way, I just don't see the appeal. I'd never get involved in any of these, but if it floats your boat, have at it. I'm easygoing like that. :D

    JMHO, of course
I do not have a 1911 in 9mm or even 22LR, but wouldn't mind owning them.

Mine is not 100% reliable yet (getting some work done now). I was hoping for better, but the price is right for a frame, slide, and barrel that are reasonably well fitted.

I like 9mm for all of my semiauto handgun needs, subcompact, compact and full size. The cartridge is effective for self defense, and the nice thing about full size 9mm pistols is the capacity and velocity/energy you get with the longer barrel. My home defense gun is an M&P 9 Pro with a 5" barrel.

I think a 9mm 1911 would be a fun gun to own, although I like higher capacity pistols for serious use, regardless of caliber.
