    just FYI, your probably going to have a very hard time finding a puppy at any rescue shelter. People typically LOVE the puppies, but have issues with the adult dogs.

    We got our dog from the Brown County Animal Shelter. Does he have to be a full breed. We searched online thru petfinder, all the indiana humane societies, various rescue places and my kids like the one we got a 1 yr old German Shepard/American Bulldog. Great dog already potty trained.

    Rottweiler Rescue and Adoption- Adopt a Rottweiler Near You
    Also try local shelters. Those are where the dogs need the most help.

    This right here, I searched it and that link was the first one...I typed in my zip code and many rots of all ages came up.



    It's a good deed you're doing here; there are lots of wonderful rots(dogs) out there that need a good home, but can't because some people want to be the only owner.

    Yeah petfinder is a good source too. Thats how we found ours. They list all rescue's, shelters, humane societies.
