Was the ugliest gun I ever saw but had all Kidd internals and barrel with a Franklin binary trigger. Shop couldn’t sell it due to how ugly it was. Included a few pics of the transition.
Once the purple was bead blasted I just took my time and sanded with high grit until finishing off with a buffer wheel on the table grinder for a nice polish.
GSG 110rnd drum works well with it. Do get a lot of FTF with the binary.
I did throw another 10/22 into that chassis just to see what it would look like.

Got mine in 1981 for $129. After the lenses fell out of the really cheap scope I bought for it I put a $175 scope on it. Those 2 are still together to this day.
