I just ordered the LCP Custom from KY Gun Co. It was on their website as "available for backorder" for $219.99. My order status shows it's ready to ship. Will hopefully have it before too long.

When I ordered mine from kygunco a few weeks ago, it was on back order a total of 7 days, then shipped. Worth the wait. Gander mountain has them on sale..... For $330

UPDATE: Received a call on Monday from KY Gun Co. that my Ruger was in and ready for pickup. Was able to get it today, so from the time I ordered it until it was ready for pickup was about 2 weeks, which I didn't think was bad for a product on backorder.

I picked up one last night for $226 out-the-door. LGS is having trouble getting them in. Usually a couple at a time. Owner held this one for me.

It fits easily into a pocket, but I really prefer a holster. What holsters do folks prefer?

Finally picked me up a LCP, thanks to an INGO member. Going to put a strip of hi vis paint on the front sight, but other than that leave it pain jane.

I would highly recommend the Ruger LCP Custom with real sights and a MUCH improved trigger. They can be had for $226 at KY Gun Co. I've heard rumors though that Ruger is redesigning the LCP. Hopefully with a slide that locks back after an empty mag.

I see they have the LC380 - but that's a 6" long handgun just like the LC9, both in Striker.

I see no LCP upgrade in a 6+1, 5" pocket pistol.
