    Back in 1983-1989, my life would have been better if it was just a sci-fi fake math joke!

    The equation I posted is essentially an application of Newton's 2nd Law to fluid flows, i.e. it represents a set of three equations that govern the transfer of momentum in fluids. The form I posted was for incompressible fluids (liquids). It's a bit more complicated for compressible fluids (gases). In practice, it's often possible to simplify the system of equations dramatically based on known information and a more convenient solution emerges. Knowing how to apply given information and assumption to simplify sufficiently for a solution is a huge part of studying fluid dynamics.

    This is what I ponder when I am shooting, which explains why my times are so slow in USPSA.
