Safetyless DA/SA decocked. Prefer a decocker but doing it manually works too. No safety means nothing to accidentally turn off or on or depend on to cover you in sloppy handling. I often use my carry gun in matches but like shooting all sorts of guns light, heavy, short, long so the DA-SA transition doesn't throw me off as much as single-gun-experts.

For those who like to carry with the safety off, remember to still train to swipe the safety off should it accidentally get turned on.

Honestly, I think the quality of the holster matters more than if it has a safety.

I went no safety from the start because my first pistol was a G19. Learned everything on that gun. After that, a safety seemed like just something to get in the way when simplicity of movement might be imperative.

I grew up with revolvers and anyone who's competent with a revolver understands how to properly handle a non-safety pistol...the best safety is the one between one's ears and if that ain't working correctly, the manual one's probably won't always work correctly either!
That being said, I also understand where some people feel more comfortable with a manual safety and have no argument against them having one, except that they don't try to force their 'need' for a safety on to me or someone who doesn't feel the need for one!
My belief says, if you feel you need a safety on your firearm, then train with one and know + understand how to use it correctly! If you do not feel you need a safety on your firearm, then train + understand how to use the pistol safely and correctly!
Love a good DA revolver...and my Commander 1911!!!
