Well first match of the year in the books. A little chilly at first but turned into a nice day. I shot like crap but had a blast doing it. As I said I would rather shoot a crappy match in the cold weather than be at home wishing I was at the match.
Congrats Chad on the clean match Looking Good.

Anyone that came in from the west on highway 50 this morning there were 1000's of Sandhill cranes in the fields in the couple of miles before turning on 135 to the range. Cool to see so many of them in one area.

One Mike on the next to last target of the day.... The other 140 some were good...lol...6 Deltas. Times were great, most of that due to poor reloading into the pocket of my hoodie. Movement was so so. It is tough to shoot through.

I had some high primers, or it is the new S&B primers...time will tell. May need more whack in the striker. Ankle held up and REALLY DOES NOT like

Great squad and alot of fun (even with the cold). Shot a clean match, but was slow with too many Delta's.

I think I'm going to change my definition of a clean match to "No Mikes and No Delta's"

I had a great time!
My previously untestes trigger job actually worked,that may be a first.
I didn't work so well, but I'm a year older.
I shot ok, I threw a couple into the hard cover on stage 1 and missed almost every reload,All in all it was a good day.

Thanks to all who BRAVED the cold to shoot our first match of 2013. Thanks to RO's and Setup tear down people.
The new Sti Eagle ran like a DREAM but the DUMMY behind the controls still don't understand the FRONT SIGHT thing. I had some really great stages and a some really BAD stages(no shoot, hard cover and MISSES) Times where good but you can't shoot fast enough to make up misses.

Yes, thanks to everyone who came out to play with us Sunday. The cold wasn't nearly as bad it could have been (no wind). Lack of practice clearly showed... couple mikes and a no shoot. I need Max to explain the whole front sight thing to me.... once he figures it out...

Just barely.

My digits were cold.

Not to mention several dead primers on the Classifier.

I switched to another batch of ammo for the rest of the match.

I really thought I cocked up the first match of the year.
