And this is why they're trying to push 'art' into the acronym, turning S.T.E.M. into S.T.E.A.M. They want a toehold to turn the hard sciences into grievance studies like they did with the soft sciences and the humanities. Except the laws of physics are not as forgiving as the laws of sociology; the tensile strength of steel, for instance, does not care about anyone's pronouns. As is immediately demonstrable with the Florida International University pedestrian bridge collapse, when you replace facts with feels people :xmad:-ing die.

'The teen’s lawyers asked that the pronoun “he” be used for their client.'

Why do they keep enabling mental illness in the name of political correctness? :xmad::xmad::xmad::xmad:

You are not getting creative enough, the crazy in question being Female to Male is a good thing. Give them exactly what they want and send them to the Adult (male) prison. The problem will be dealt with in a appropriately horrendous manner befitting a school shooter. As to the purple haired whackjob I assume something similar will happen as well. Tbe CO"s will definitely 100% be able to keep these two snowflakes alive and harm free in prison. :evilangel:

I mean after all this would be the "social justice" approved way to go IMHO :abused:

If it’s a sincere request, I’d probably call them whatever they prefer. If it’s a demand, **** them. I’ll call them whatever I’m feeling at the time. But. This person just participated in a mass shooting. I’m not sure I could be accommodating no matter how respectfully it’s requested.

Looking through the criminal history of she/he's daddy I saw a protection order issued in Castle Rock, CO. We all know how well those work.

Doing the math the momma was 16 when she had "alleged murderer #2". Daddy is an illegal alien/felon. This kid didn't have a good start in life, but I have to think without all this fashionably transgender crap she/he wouldn't be in a cell now.

As long as this does not reduce any sentecing in the feel good we can save them world we can look at this. Beyond that "it" went on a rampage in a school with a firearm.
    Time to pay the piper.

With that kind of background, including the societal consequences of insane social justice, this kid hardly had a chance of coming out of childhood capable of successfully functioning in the world. And now, possibly the biggest question to answer is mens, or woman’s prison? The most humane would be woman’s prison, because she’s a biological woman. She’ll be raped mercilessly in a mens prison. But I think that’s the conclusion insane social justice will offer.

When you take someone who is exhibiting serious signs of mental health disorder and tell them they are just fine, we shouldn’t be surprised when they do bad things. Their minds are Ill and we’ve decided to ignore it. Depression, suicide, and apparently murderous rage are downstream effects of our failure to help people like her.

Some day we will realize how badly we harmed them. But those of us who said it all along will be blamed.

This has been coming for a while Doc. In the attempts by these small factions to get a foothold in normal acceptance there are casualty's.
My personal opinions here mean NADA in the big picture anyway. 1 small voice in a sea of screaming madness.

SMH. Starting to hear and read opinion pieces critical of the students who tackle these gunmen, because it might be putting pressure on others to react the same way in similar circumstances

Seems like if the choice is between do something and stand there and die, the MSM prefers the passive approach.
Good training for later kneeling in front of the trench

I haven't heard that but, then I haven't consumed much news lately. It wouldn't surprise me. It comes down to this. When **** happens, do you want a chance to live or not? Do you want to give other people a chance to live or not? You wanna sit there passively and be shot or not?

The anti-gunners know that encouraging or highlighting cases of people fighting back, will eventually turn the discussion to the topic of which tools allow people to fight back effectively, i.e. guns.

They must keep up with the narrative that only highly trained professionals can use guns effectively. Acknowledging that average people can defend themselves destroys the mirage.

It's not even subtle anymore. Not that it ever really was, but they're just so blatant with their agenda now. The decades of conditioning worked.

Well, if some of the kids are brave, then that means the "others" are NOT brave.
And you can't have that in a socialist society.
    Everyone MUST BE THE SAME.

When I was in college, after the Virginia Tech shooter, I was in my 30s.
People asked me what I thought.
I told them, if 30 people rushed the gunman, less people would die.
I was told, he would shoot some of the people rushing.
I said, yes. But they'd get shot anyway.
You have a better chance everyone fighting, than if everyone submitted.

And it's easier to pull the top down than bring the bottom up.

I don't disagree with that. However, personally, I would choose to shoot the gunman, rather than exposing myself to fatal gunfire and risking great bodily injury. I think we're all in agreement there. More states need to get with the program and allow students and staff that can carry, to carry.

But, if placed in an environment where I was unarmed, yes, running at the gunman in a large group would absolutely solve the problem. People will get shot, but they were likely to get shot if they offer no resistance at all, so if faced with that choice, I would choose to act.

You can't win if you don't play.
