I buy fairly frequently on craigslist and I need to get rid of a lot of household stuff and tools. A car also, I sold one there 15 years ago and I don't remember the specifics but it was a bit of a pain. I haven't sold on there at all in over 5 years and I heard that they are now charging fees and other things that complicate the process. Wondering if anyone is selling there and what the procedures are now?

I won't touch craigslist with a 10 foot pole. I posted a WTB ad for a convertible top boot for a PT Cruiser that we had at the time and immediately got bombarded with hundreds of spam emails. Took several weeks for that to stop. No thank you.

I’ve never sold anything on Craigslist but I did find a Fender amp that I had been looking for for over a decade. It was the only Craigslist deal I’ve ever done, and it worked out great. I do browse through it regularly, though.

I used Craigslist a ton years ago. I could sell anything on there. Even sold the wife's used breast pump :lmfao: Haven't listed on there though in at least 5 years
I mainly Look at guitars and amps on there, but for the last few years, used prices have made it to much of a hassle unless you find something you just can’t find anywhere else. With musical instruments, you might as well just buy new.

Craigslist got inundated by scammers several years ago. Marketplace is the new place to buy/sell.

Side note: The last thing I tried to get rid of on Craigslist was a pain in the ass Rooster that I kept around to keep my hens happy. He was a total a**hole. I titled the ad "FREE: Huge Cock". The responses did not disappoint. The ad eventually got flagged and taken down, but not before I found someone to take him.

Be careful, Marketplace is rapidly acquiring a following of pikers and scammers as well. It's easier to recognize a scam on MP than it is on CL but it's rapidly going downhill. Add in the joke of a "Search" it has and it's pretty much hit or miss IMHO.
Very true. I’ve had lots of people try to scam me on animals. Products have been ok though

depends what you’re selling. common interest items (tools, guy stuff) will sell well but niche items would be best for marketplace. expect more spam with Craigslist but it’s what some people only trust and use

Dunno why any lNGOer would sell anywhere but the INGO classifieds?

I've bought my last two vehicles there.

    :dunno:
Market size. The book of faces requires one to install book of faces to use or sell on market place. I would need a catfish account and a burner phone.
    Has the largest market size.

Craigslist is like the old classifieds we used to pick up at the local stores. Less page views than marketplace but more than INGO. The that where people look for escorts and "FREE: Huge Cock" adds. These alone give it a larger market share than INGO. INGO had a chance when the "Hot chicks fishing thread"was still alive but Walt dis knee must own the site minus the groomers.

INGO has the best classy fieds but the smallest market share. Works wonders for selling "wallets" and trading "high points for lever guns". If the add does not align with the planets and asteroids on non firearm items it will not sell or at least not quickly sell. I'm
