    I think the point Ms. Trotter was trying to make is that a mom can and should learn to use a "scary gun", in that it is just the opposite. It is not scary but is an effective home defense weapon.

    I got the point. Any woman holding an AR has one heck of an intimidation factor and just holding it would be a deterrant to most criminals. Most "uneducated people" watching this would just focus on the term scary gun=bad.

    Schumer needs to quit talking out of his ass and listen to what is being said here...enforce the 9000 existing laws that are out there. If the BG's, thugs and drug dealers are locked up and put away, crime will certainly go wayyyy down

    Does anyone know how many hearings the Senate Judiciary is supposed to hold on this topic? It's my understanding that this is the first in a series of hearings before it goes on to the full Senate.
