Amazingly, I have sat through 2 local news cycles and haven't seen anything mentioned about this. Must not fit the agenda. Nowas I type I am seeing it reported on Fox news

It doesnt fit the agenda so you probably won't see much on the news. Actually goes against the agenda. Good guy with gun stops bad guy with gun within 60 seconds. No scary "assault rifle" used either. Sure does make the fools in Coward county Florida look bad too!

    .02% is 2,200.

If the prescribing doctor is doing their job and these side affects start to occur then the individual should be pulled off the med. I'm sure there are time this doesn't happen though.

Thanks, still too many psychotic events. And I'd hazard the guess that the number referred back to the doctor is much closer to zero.

    Let’s review:

What DIDN’T stop today’s school shooting:
    - Maryland’s assault weapon ban
    - Maryland’s 10-round magazine limit
    - Maryland’s universal background check requirement
    - Maryland’s law requiring an exhaustive application process to obtain a permit to purchase a handgun
    - Maryland’s law prohibiting purchase of more than one firearm per month
    - Maryland’s law requiring handgun registration
    - Maryland’s law requiring licensing of handgun owners
    - Maryland’s extremely limited approval of concealed carry permits
    - Maryland’s refusal to honor any concealed carry permit from another state
    - Federal law prohibiting handgun purchases for people under 21
    - Laws against carrying without a permit
    - Gun free zone laws
    - Laws against discharging a firearm in public
    - Laws against attempted murder

What DID stop today’s school shooting:
    - An armed person at the scene who engaged the shooter in less than a minute

    Any questions?

    Any questions?

I've already seen people arguing that a "good guy with a gun" didn't stop the person, it was a TRAINED resource officer.

You mean the RSO that the NRA suggested, and you poo-poo'd?

Trained? You mean teachers are untrainable?
(Not you Spear D. Part of a conversation. )

I just heard it mentioned on WTHR that "it was unclear if the 14 year old was hit by the shooter or by the resource officer." That's the first I've heard that speculation... only that it was unclear of the SRO killed the shooter or if the shooter offed himself. Let the spin begin! We can't have good guys with guns ruining our agenda.

No, they are ginning up to cover pro gun control protests on the 24th while ignoring pro gun counter protests. Me, I'm getting ready to :spend: to the NRA.
