If he was wearing a hat when he engaged the shooter do you really think he would still be wearing it after subduing him? I am told that bar is a magnet for trouble and gets several visits from the popo a week for called in disturbances. I was told by a cop who knew other cops that were there that the bouncer was told a number of times to drop the weapon and he didn't and they believed he was going to shoot the guy. Being in a bar in Robbins Illinois late on a Sunday night shows you are on a bad path in life no matter why you are there. I would not trust the word of anyone in that bar no matter what they said. Ill bet virtually everyone at that bar was juiced up on a lot more than just alcohol
