I have an SBR that has been in for a little over 4 mo. I'm kinda going a little batty waiting, most all my other items have cleared though the trust in or about 3 mo. Should I call for an update or will they just push it back even farther? I have heard of people calling but I never have, not even sure where to call. I would like to wrap it under the tree so I can tell my wife Santa got it for me.

That's normal, Trust is slower than Individual now.

My Form4 was pending June 30, approved Nov 2, took another 4 weeks to receive the actual stamp on Nov 30.

You have already made the " List " for posting about it here.
Since you have been put on the bottom of the stack, you might as well call.

Question though, can/how can you monitor a form 4 online since you mailed it in. I am aware that when you efile a form1 you can see the progress but I was unaware about the 4's if this is the case.

    .
My last 3 efiled form 1's were all over 4 months each. Sucks when you compare it to previous submissions.

My suppressor is still in lock down too and I ordered that 2 months after the sbr so I guess I have some time to wait anyway. Need to save up for a scope

NFA tracker is estimating about 5 months now for Form 4s, just as an FYI. I'm still waiting on a stamp for an SBS I filed back in mid-July.

Give them a call, they aren't going to punish you for asking about a pending Form. I agree calling and asking all sorts of silly questions about regulations is a bad idea, but asking about where your Form is in the process, no worry. Every time I have called them they have been curteous and I have gotten no penalization from them. 5 mo seems like a breeze compared to my first stamp (which took 16 mo).

Just got word my stamp was approved and in the mail. So hopefully, you'll be getting yours before too long, maybe early January.

12/15 will be 7 months since I filled out all my paperwork and paid in full for two suppressors through a trust at my lgs. Starting to think there's a issue.

Not necessarily. We've been seeing wait times starting to drag out again. They were getting really short for a while, like 3 months, and now seeing stuff back up to 6+ sometimes. If you have your serial numbers you can call and check to see where it is in the process.

I spoke with my guy today and he said 2 more states went on the suppresser band wagon so it is jamming things up a bit. He said you can call the atf but there is a recording that says if it hasn't been 5 months then hang up, or something of that nature. Im going to wait till January before I bother.

Not for your sake but I almost hope so... As of 12-6-15 I was at 4 months since check cash. Waiting more than 2 more months makes me feel all funny. And not in a good way!
