Sig P365XL Slide Issue

I have 3 P365s, and only one of them was a little notchy when pulling the slide back. Shot a bunch of rounds through it without any problems, and it is smoother now. Any reason why you don't just shoot it and see if it smooths out? Or if you really just can't stand it, sell it for a loss and consider the difference between what you paid and what you get for it as a $$ fine for buying a gun from a retailer that won't let you check them out before buying. Due diligence is on you.
