    CC = no questions asked
    CC = no getting hassled
    CC = no prying eyes
    CC = no advance notice to BG

    OC = asking for all of these things.

    Live and learn.
    I have no qualms with OC. It just isn’t for me. That being said, it is nice to be able to walk about without people asking me questions all the time. And yes, that does happen with OC. Every time I have open carried I have found it to be a mix of oblivious people and people who don’t mind their own business.

    I don't really care for people, therefore, I'll conceal, and avoid the idiots.

    Yep. Same reason I quit wearing gun-related or even sports-related clothing. I kept finding myself wondering why someone I didn’t know was attempting to engage me in conversation.

    I'm assuming (please, Brucecrain, correct me if I'm wrong) the references to the 2nd are part of the "Every 2nd Matters" movement which encourages gun owners to open carry on the 2nd of each month while going about their normal, day-to-day business in order to engage people in conversations about the 2nd Amendment. Let people know that it's legal, why we carry, answer any questions or misconceptions, etc. It's been around YouTube for a while on Gunwebsites', Never Enuff Ammo's, and The Yankee Marshall's channels.

    Depending on how you are carrying and how you are dressed, I would think the police question would be a much more common question than that of legality.

    Yep. When I would OC in khakis, polo, and a high and tight I was told "be careful out there" by clerks on more than one occasion.

    I miss Galyans.

    Ditto.

    I go to a Simon mall in Evansville, Eastland Mall, with my Ruger LC9s concealed in my front jeans pocket. What they don't know won't hurt them and might save my girls' lives in a bad situation.

    Me too...at least that don't really caring for people part. That's why, as much as possible, between on-line ammo places, on-line gun shops, on-line-everything-else-shopping, I stay at home as much as I can and let the UPS or FedEx guy bring it right to the door. :)

    While you were being escorted out by security, the CC citizens were enjoying a lunch there. We are all human, we all make mistakes. I carry in Legal carry locations that happen to post no weapons all the time. I like CC better for all the reasons mentioned in prior posts, also if I fail to see a no weapons sign, my day doesn't change. I have no problem with others OC, I just feel I don't have to have my head on a swivel worrying about a bad guy taking me out first since I was the visible threat to his bad intentions, or some anti gun moron deciding to make a statement by clubbing me in the head so they can later claim "I though it was a terrorist, he had a gun and everything". Although we all like a bit of debate some times, I like to choose when I have enlightening discussions, not have spontaneous discussions about carry rights with any nut job who thinks they have a right to verbally or physically assault me just for exercising my right. Then there's the whole swatting game they play, where they decide it's fun to call the police and see if they can get you shot, or at the very least watch the fun when they show up after calling in a "man with a gun who looks threatening".

    If you go ever go to a police department to file a complaint, don't wear a ski mask and carry long guns because although a nervous cop may be an arresty cop, a cop with a situation like this one might just get ya killed. These "activists" are lucky to be alive.

    They claim a biased judge has jailed them, but even if that were true, had they not walked into a police department armed with ski masks, they would be having waffles this morning at Denny's instead of whatever the prison was serving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LslQDDfqmbg
