FBI is always freaking out, especially in Michigan. Remember when the Feeb took pot shots at the Grand Rapids PD and then lead them on a merry chase. Few years ago IIRC.

More involvement by the FBI than initially thought. Unlike the movies, explosives etc are not that easy to come by, if someone says they can get you all you need they're probably the FBI lol.
