I think 465 should be flooded with rusty and dented mini vans driving 35 mph as this is going on. That’s what I always seem to get behind when I’m trying to get somewhere.

Have they stated a time? I have to be on the NE side Thursday for a meeting. it would suck if Hwy 37/I465 to E. 56th took as long as Evansville to Indy.

Looks like the roll out starts at 11:00. My meeting starts at 11:30. Guess I will be getting there early.

As long as they don’t try that protest on Race Day (although the traffic on I-465 exiting at 56th, 38th, Crawfordsville/I-74, and 10th will be moving at closer to 5.0 mph than 50 mph from about 0700 to 1200 local time).

Thought for a minute there that some of my brother pilots were creating a thread to talk aerobatics.

Why don't they block their employer's driveways or maybe the Capitol building? Why **** with everybody else's day that are just trying to get to work? I suppose by doing it at 11 a.m. they're keeping the disruption to a minimum but still...

They'll get the same amount of sympathy to their plight from me as I give to those antifa and BLM ****s that block the roads.

We have a certain group of individuals up here in northern IN that block the roads and highways every single day...
    They are called Amish.
They even throw poop all over the roads.
Need to come up with a more novel idea.

So I will be coming from Fort Wayne to the Indy Airport. Should reach the end of I-69 about 4:00pm on Thursday. Will they be done with their truck rodeo by then so I can get onto I-465? Suggested alternate routes to airport?

Just put some bicyclist on the road ahead of them.

The heck with being in front. I'd jump behind one of those and draft at 45-50mph. When we were young and dumb racers we would draft semis through town on our bypass.

Looking at a map tonight I am thinking I exit I-69 at Pendleton and take 9 down to Greenfield. Then get on I-70 and head west through town to the airport. What’s I-70 like going through town at 4:30pm?

Assuming you're driving a regular vehicle, best to just stay on 69 which eventually turns into Binford Blvd. Take that to Keystone Ave. then go south (left) and then to I-70 to the airport.

If you're driving a semi or other large vehicle, then the route you said would be better.
