Midwest Industry (MI) makes a very good and affordable quadrail for the AK. This will give you space for light, dot and vfg and a good solid sling mount without adding a lot of weight.
I guess you weren't the weapons specialist on your team:)

Duly noted, Evan. Thanks for the insight. :yesway:

I'll check out MI. I'm wanting to get an AFG for it, so that should fit on quite nicely. I've been "scoping" out the PA RDS (da dum dum) and they look like a viable option. I may put a collapsible stock on it, but haven't decided which one. I have a mountable light I can use, it's a little knock-off, but It'll do for now.

I'll need to test fire it somewhere, too. Hmm..

Is this aimed at me? :D

No, because that would be breaking rules... :joke:

I've just had bad experiences at Atterbury, not necessarily with other people, just the range nazis with their attitudes, opinions, and general ephus. Outside of Wilbur Wright and driving for an hour and a half, I have no other place to take it BUT Atterbury. I rather not, but I will if I have to.

However, if you're extending an invitation... I won't tell you no. ;)

I don't know what side of town you are on but I am a member at ACC

Membership is very inexpensive. You would need to attend a membership meeting and attend a couple matches. We have 8 high walled bays which allow you to do much more than just static shooting. If this interest you let me know and I will gladly send you more info.

That's actually farther than Atterbury would be. I live in Greenwood, so I'd have to drive cross-town and then some.
Too bad, we have a great range. Maybe give south central a try. It would be a little farther than the camp but would allow you to shoot more than just 10ring.
