    haven't read above posts, but here's what will happen if a D wins president and D gains control of the house/senate:

    CA style ban on "high capacity" magazines. Nothing more than 10 for both rifle and hangfun.
    Ban on new semi auto rifles being made (or at minimum no more ar15). Nothing made after a certain date. Old rifles will be nontransferable (won't even be able to gift).

    The Dems had this situation under Obama and could not get it done then...hell they failed to pass what should have been easy stuff like "The Gun Show Loophole Closing Act of 2009 and Gun Show Background Check Act of 2009 (H.R. 2324, S. 843)"
    They won't get far simply because of ignorance.

    As stated above, they have learned their lesson with the last ban. They will be illegal to sell, transfer, use or own including magazines over 10 rds.
