Sharpshooter
Our local county sheriff dept just posted on their facebook page that they will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on a certain date.
This immediately turned into a huge discussion on the legality of such an operation.
What's ingo's opinion? Violation of 4th amendment? I know courts have upheld these, but there are plenty of laws on the books that are unconstitutional.
I'm all for keeping the public safe, noone wants to be run over by some guy with a BAC of .25, but should we accept this?
