There are several guns with fake suppressors that are threaded then tack welded.
Threaded then "tack welded" doesn't meet the qualifications of "permanently attached" so it doesn't matter, it's still an SBR. The ATF lays out very specific instruction on how to permanently attach things. The seller didn't make any mention of the fake suppressor being permanently attached, but found it notable to mention that the barrel is threaded. This tells me that 99% chances it's just a regular threaded barrel.

So what would be the legallity on something like this. I know I always figured if ya had to ask and you feel its is illegal it probably is a good idea just to so with it being illegal. I am not wanting to buy one but if it is not made to put on a firearm then would it still be a silencer.

Well the seller isnt even in the states, so I am assuming in their country items like this are legal. I surely wouldnt want to be caught here with something like that!

    Otherwise...Nice Craftsmanship!

Oh and I see he is from outside the USA so they might not be illegal where he is from and he may have no idea that they are probably illegal here.

He must have some idea about the legality because he states that he ships the insides first and then the outer tube separately to "Avoid issues", or something similar. Scary situation for some innocent slob ordering one thinking they are legal.
