Can't find one for $750 I'll wait until it calms down and buy one. It won't make the Biden, Beto ban list. I may just buy the CZ 97BD or B if its available, then next year with the ban hammer in full swing get the Ronin 10mm.

If you think this will calm down anytime soon I do believe you are making a mistake my friend.

It may take 4-8 years but it will eventually reset itself. Once the younger generation grows up pays socialisms taxes the vote will swing back to conservative values and they will see it isn't all they thought it would be.

My brother I think you are to trusting in your fellow man.
But in 4 to 8 years my brain will be mush and possibly crapping my drawers so I hope for you this is the way it goes but no, this reset will never be what we just went through. In my mind if you want one and you find one and you can afford it you best get it.

    JMHO of course.

Amigo, you must not want either one very much, if you are willing to wait 4-8 years to save a couple hundred bucks on a gun that will last a lifetime.

I'm just pointing out things change every election cycle. So what looks grim today will most likely change in a few years at the next election. We have one every 2 years. Lots of change can take place every 2 years. Look at this election. Trump was a huge change from Obama. I have faith in my fellow Americans to come around and see the truth.

Thank you. It's something I have learned i wasn't always like that. I thought the world ended if an election went sideways. However bad America gets it usually recovers and gets back to normal. The last time we seen this much insurrection was in the 1960's. We survived it and we will survive the current push for Marxism. The Constitution always prevails. Its that thorn in every politicians side.

In answer to johnnyC's question about the difference in feel, they do feel different to me. The ergos are different. I had my 97B before there were a lot of parts available and sold it in part because it was too large to comfortably shoot. Stock, the trigger reach can be long.

The grip is better contoured though. With the CGW RRK (reach reduction kit) and good grips, the 97 feels better than a 1911. Not a lot, but better.

The 1911 has a better thumb safety placement but the 97B can be carried hammer down. The 97B seemed heavier to me and was a tad softer shooting IIRC.

The trigger is the real difference though. A 97B can have an excellent trigger but it will never match a well tuned 1911.

These are just my memories from when I owned both several years ago. If CGW parts were available back then, I'd probably own both still today
