Oh, I have my fingers crossed hoping that you are right. I shelled out for a Springfield Loaded today.
Y'all wouldn't steer me wrong, now would you?
The Loaded is a very nice 1911, congrats

I just got an R1... but i have a kid named Remington, so that kinda swayed it for me, plus it's not staying stock, so i didn't mind. got a killer deal on an Enhanced.
I can't imagine anything of yours staying "stock".
.... yeah... it's true
Definition of "Stock" please.
I'd say from factory.... minus just a grip swap. was trying to think through my stuff what i had that was stock... came up with a couple. lol
Are the Colts for sale over at CDNN comparable to the RO's?

Santa brought me a new Colt 1911 for Christmas. It is beautifully finished. The bluing is deep and rich. The grips are rosewood. The three dot sights perfect. Fit and finish inside and out is perfect. Did I mention how it shoots? At 25 feet with these old eyes cover a magazine full with a silver dollar. Have shot a few hundred rounds of factory and reloads and no malfunctions. Thank you JMB for creating this pistol!I would stay away from the new Colts. That is just a personal opinion and I am sure many will disagree.
No knock on the true fans of the marque.

Love it when folks fumble with the re-assembly...
i've got it now, but DAMN that pin/catch can be a pain! i'm so use to CZs and just clumsily tossing the stuff together, i dont like this whole "pay attention to what you're doing" thing on 1911s! (you should've seen what i edited out, it was even better)
