LAV himself is saying this is not a limited production model and more models will be added. I think he is trying to have a "middle ground" price wise between the Glocks and Wilson Combat pistols

THANK YOU!!!! Maybe I need to find a new gun store? He did not seem real enthusiastic about even looking into it for me. He is also the one who indicated they would be limited. Perhaps I should sit tight and wait for production to kick in.

It never ceases to amaze me how some LGS owners just don't even seem interested in making money. But I figured that info might be helpful and hopefully prevent people from paying a premium for a non limited edition gun.

So does this mean we're not mad at Springfield anymore? Asking for a friend.... :dunno:

I still am but to each there own. I'd be interested in one if it was a different manufacturer. After hearing the experience CM has had with Springfield customer service, no thanks! Nice looking gun though.

thanks for taking the time to get that out there. I am sure lgs are making money with all the unrest, but seems like you would want to make long term customers not one sale wonders.

There may be a loop hole on this one. From what I understand Springfield puts out a Solid 1911? So I wonder if there was an issue would Lipseys take care of it just as Talo would? Perhaps leaving Springfield out of it?
