I'd definitely call ford.. there may be a low jack system or their version of on star.. its worth checking... for sure the police won't check with fordI dont know if it has GPS or not he just bought it a week ago used new to him.

Thats not entirely true. There have been instances where auto makers have worked with the local authorities to find stolen vehicles. As far as if its the polices job to do that, I would agree.
